Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
Effective date: October 25, 2026
This policy explains how Squareline Growth ("we," "us") handles information on squarelinegrowth.com and in the services we provide to local businesses (our "clients"). If you have questions, email hello@squarelinegrowth.com.
Text messaging privacy
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We use mobile numbers only to send and manage the text messages people have agreed to receive, to honor opt-outs, and to keep the consent records carriers expect. See our SMS Terms for message frequency, rates, and how to opt out.
Information we collect
- Free audit requests. When you use the audit form, we collect your name, business name, email address, the plan you picked (if any), the time you submitted it, and the website address the form was sent from. The phone number field is optional. If you give a number, we also record whether you checked the separate SMS consent box and when. We text that number only if you check that box, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. See our SMS Terms for details.
- Email and other messages. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
- Client account information. For clients, we collect business details needed to set up and run the services, such as business name, contact details, service area, the owner's mobile number and email for forwarded messages, and the information carriers require to register business texting.
- Technical information. Our website host processes standard technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and secure the site. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
Information we process for our clients' customers
When we run services for a client, we process information about that client's customers on the client's behalf, as a service provider. This can include names, phone numbers, email addresses, call times for missed calls, text messages and replies, job details the client gives us for review requests, and opt-in and opt-out records. The client decides who is contacted and why. We use this information only to provide the services to that client, and not for our own marketing. If you're a customer of one of our clients, you can also contact that business directly about your information.
How we use information
- To respond to audit requests and questions, and to prepare your audit
- To set up, run and support the services our clients sign up for, including sending texts and emails on their behalf and forwarding customer replies to the business owner
- To record consent and honor opt-out (STOP) requests
- To bill clients and keep business records
- To protect our site and services, and to meet legal and carrier requirements
We don't sell personal information.
Service providers we use
We share information with service providers only as needed to run our site and services, under their own security and privacy terms:
- Website hosting and database providers, which host this site and store audit requests and service records
- A text messaging and phone number provider, which delivers texts and registers business texting with the carriers
- An online spreadsheet service and our email provider, which we use to manage requests, send reports and reply to you
The sharing described here excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep information
We keep audit requests as long as we need them to respond and follow up. We keep client and service records for as long as we work together, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, tax and compliance purposes. Opt-out records are kept so that someone who opted out isn't texted again. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards: the site uses HTTPS, and access to stored records is limited and protected. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from that sender. Reply HELP for help.
- Email hello@squarelinegrowth.com to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. If we hold the information for a client, we'll work with that client on your request.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us to use them.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
